Most technical foams can be used as a filling and protecting material as well as a material cushioning impacts (e.g. in protectors). The antistatic foam RECSTAT 26 has special applications. This foam provides proper protection when electrocharges are discharged, which enables the dispersion of the charges formed. The foam is used mainly in the transport of light objects such as printed circuit boards and semiconductors. The S284MD and S364MD foams in the form of a profiled layer for fillings, for example, for suitcases are used very often as well.
